Strava missing activity

I completed a ride and uploaded to Strava. I also posted to Facebook ( I know........).
It shows on FB but is not in my Strava activities. If I click on the FB entry, it take me to Strava and the ride is there, but I do not see it if I log in to Strava.
The ride is still on my phone.
The app says there are no un-synced activities.
I even browsed to the phone and there is nothing in the upload folder.
Does anyone know of a way to add it into my dashboard activities?

Its very frustrating to lose a ride. Sounds like the data uploaded but is just not refreshing. I think you can export the GPX from Strava, then import it manually into Strava. I've lost loads of rides unfortunately.

Using a desktop/laptop browser, Upload an Activity, top right, click the +

(You will need to have exported the GPX first, and got this on the desktop/laptop)

Haven't had this happen personally, but you can create a support 'ticket' with Strava, who will look into it. Best advice is to NOT delete it from your phone though.

Don't panic! It's safely recorded in Strava. You don't have anything to share until it's been uploaded and strava website has given you are activity number. So for some reason it's not showing up on your dashboard.

Is showing up https://www.strava.com/dashboard?feed_type=my_activity ?

The web app, when I click through facebook, does not allow download as I am not premium.
If I edit it, this change gets updated on the web page.

I think Strava has been having a few hissy fits recently. I have experinced big delays on some platforms compared to others and missing rides, but eventually they seem to arrive. I am also blaming Watt Bike for their new software.

Got it! You've got 2 accounts. One is your normal strava account, but you accidentally created a second account that uses your FB identity.

So, what you need to do is log into strava with you FB id, and download the GPX for http://www.strava.com/activities/434226449 and http://www.strava.com/activities/500384538 then log out and log back in using your normal strava details, then upload the two GPX files. http://www.strava.com/upload/select

Also log out of the strava app on your phone, and log back in using your strava details.

Lol. I remember feeling clever working this out, then a little miffed you didn't reply. Hope you've had an excellent break.

Yes, you can download gpx without premium, but only from your own rides. So make sure you a logged into the right account. Then just go to the ride page, click on the spanner on the left and you should see "export gpx" as one of the options.
