can anyone help me on this , I have been looking at the strava times for this climb and their seems to be several leader boards or segments , I'm not familiar with how strava realy works , is their one actual link where I can see all the best times or is it several and you have to combine the results?
also some of the distances don't seem to tally with what the actual distance is being put at on the official climb records , again is this a quirk of strava or am I just not seeing it clearly , I only ask as some of the womens times are pretty fast not that I doubt them I just wanted to try and understand what I'm looking at in relation to the climb as I know their are 2 finishes that people use.and I cant tell which times relate to which finish
lastly can anyone kindly tell me what the 50th best time is for the 55 to 64 age group is and which finish that would be .
thanks

As long as I breathe, I attack.
People can create their own segments from various start and stop points so its possible to have multiple segments over the same road .

I looked on strava putting in alpe d'huez which comes up as 14.4 ks distance with Dean M as leader with 50.43 I'm guessing that's from the start of the ramp to the TDF course finish , as far as I'm aware its 13.3 from the ramp to the café at the top , this is the problem I'm not sure which times relate to which finish ,theirs a few segments showing or been created but the one with dean m seems to be the most accurate , I think , anyhow from that it links to the age group ones . the time I'm interested in is 55 to 64 age from the start of the ramp to the top ie café or tdf finish 50 th best and 1 best
many thanks

Iirc the Alpe DHuez has a silly number of strava segments.
