Strave Segments

Is it wrong to create small Strava Segments in other people's rides and name them purely for your own amusement? Maybe using lines from your own favourite movie?!

Hypothetical question.

I can't see why it would be, though I thought you could only make segments on sections you had ridden yourself.

That's what the 'make this segment private' checkbox is for...

You can make them on routes you haven't ridden, if someone else has ridden it. I don't want to make private segments, where's the fun in that?
