A strange one I know guys
anyone else have the same problem if so and advice
after a short while of riding, specially in the cold, my nose starts to run
as you can imagine this makes it hard to breath as I ride
can anyone suggest anything that may help
I have been taking antihistamines hoping they may help

Thanks for the link, I was thinking it was something along these lines
I was wondering if any riders had had a good idea of at least calming down the condition

Use a handkerchief then and wash it when you get home. You could always consult a doctor if concerned but is normal it seems

I even get this whilst walking the dog on these cold mornings. Perfectly normal for some of us it seems!

  10. For some of us it's not even big accumulations of snot that need to be cleared, but constant dewdrops that become so routine you don't notice them (until you drip on something). From watching other riders I know I'm not alone in this, but have never found a solution.

If significantly worse in cold weather you could try a balaclava or a buff over your nose and mouth.

I have this problem begin winter (along with cold hands and feet) by end of winter all of these problems are gone, I seem to get acclimatised, so may be the solution is to spend more time out in the cold?

When my nose is running I just keep blowin it out (snot rocket stile) my shoulders and forearms often look like there has been snails crawling all over them - not nice I suppose, but as a solitary cyclist who's to worry.
