Excellent show and a fitting tribute to Brucie.
Debbie McGee has to be a contender to make the final.
Brian Conley or that vicar lad who used to be in The Communards for first out.

Didn't Debbie used to be a 'dancer' in her younger days? Not fair to put her up against complete newbies.

We both Like Susan Calman. It is odd that she is taking so much flack from the lgbt community for dancing with a man but those women are most likely men haters, feminism is a great thing but some go a little too far.

About the only disappointment was Shania Twain who didn't impress me much. ;)

I thought the same, which is odd because Shania Twain is normally vocally very powerful, but it didn't come across at all. I've often thought the same with other singers who appear on Strictly, so I wonder if it's something to do with how it's produced?

Susan is a god in our house. Anyone who chooses to live openly as 'other' have no doubt received enough hate and prejudice from the daily mail, trump brigade without getting sniped at by their own 'community'. But I can see their point - its ok to middle england that they are on a prime time entertainment show but not acceptable for them to dance with someone of the same sex, but I still think it's better for them to be on the show than not (and I'm guessing the potential opportunities are hard to turn down in the real world).

Thanks to the likes of trailblazers like susan and sandy, graham norton, gareth thomas, Grayson perry, there's a whole generation of kids growing up knowing that they dont have to hide from themselves, and other people's prejudices are just that.
There. Soapbox away, now back to the glitter - apart from the ones that went to stage school or did ballet to a fairly high standard who's gonna make it to Halloween?

Shania was definitely miming ,and badly as well .

I did wonder if that was the case. Shame because although I can't say I'm a big fan she is a good singer.
judging by the amount of autotuning something was wrong somewhere. I've always hated her songs for their awful earworm qualities but this was such a nondescript song that it didn't even linger like a bad smell

I believe she lost her voice due to illness, suppose it may take time to recover.
