So, the joyous sequin and camp-fest that it Strictly is warming up nicely now. I haven't seen very much of it so far, but am aware that Pamela Connolly looks as if she's got the hang of things (and is possessed of ridiculously long legs).
Who else dares to confess they are watching?

Yes, I have been watching it this year. I would like to dance with either Robin Windsor or Artem.

Pamela and Felicity are very good.

I would like Peter Shilton to challenge Craig to a football match sometime.

Felicity Kendal has had her face dragged up unreasonably far towards the top of her head. She also pouts and gurns rather a lot, which puts me off the thought of snogging her, something I used to think about quite a lot when she was younger and fresher in The Good Life.

It's worth watching for the professionals though, Natalie Lowe is as fit as a butcher's dog - I'd love to take her rock climbing. I also enjoy the three male judges, their comments are hilarious and spot on but you can keep the bint, wossername, the pop star; useless.

It was... interesting. I particularly liked the way the camera cut away to Anton for a while, presumably to give time for techies to invade and unhook the flying gear from AW.

All of which reminds us that it's about entertainment first and foremost.

Is it me or the camers angles, but is Ann Wideabody losing a bit of weight? Her face seems a bit thinner.

I think she would be. Dancing with Anton Du Beke for eight hours a day would be an excellent way to lose weight.

She also has the ability to leave Greg Reveal Backward speechless.
