May be the points should double every time you are caught three first then six then nine then instant ban soon stop repeat offending;)

I can't understand why he continued to do it.... if I had got points for doing something on my licence I would like to think I wouldn't repeat the offence, certainly after the 2nd time and knowing what the consequences were, despite the remote chance I got caught again.

Well done.

Nice work VoaB. Are you going to apply/request what ever you have to do to have his car seized/crushed/auctioned? Otherwise he will just carry on driving it IMHO. He'll be yet another illegal unlicensed uninsured driver . Mind he can just buy a banger for £75 and drive that around. The courts aren't going to jail him if he gets caught not even after 15 times. He knows this and doesn't give a stuff. This guy is a serial offender. The small matter of not having a license won't stop him driving.

But nice work VoaB. Would love to have seen his face when you in lycra pulled alongside him, flashed your warrant card and asked him to pull over/get out/etc. If only I could be a cop for a day - payback . I would earn the force so much money, like taking candy from the mouths of babes.

Because like many motoring offences it is minor.

What we have here is a very naughty Police Officer victimising and persecuting him in order to raise millions for the State when they could be out catching dangerous criminals and those who are a threat to Society.

He is ............ a criminal and ..........errr potentially dangerous when in the car using his mobile and certainly a threat to Society - other road users - like me.

If he has been caught twice before using his phone whilst driving he must be a serious crim probably speaking to fellow crims about crim jobs or deals - that's why he's been caught twice as he has no regard for the law, placing his crim conversations above the law. An occupational hazard you might say.

Well done fella. Another person who doesn't deserve a driving license taken off the streets.

I used to love pulling people for mobiles.

..but will he actually resist the temptation to drive unlicensed ? I have my doubts. If the driver is daft enough to be caught 3 times, it shows he has a total disregard of the reasoning behind the ban of using mobiles when driving.

I expect Cunobelin was being ironic, in case you didn't notice....

Then he needs to put a smile on his post. As irony usually relies on seeing the person uttering the statement (body language being an important part of this type of humour) it can come accross as something entirely different on an internet forum.
Back to the subject, outstanding result Vike! Just so I can keep a weather eye out for this twit when cycling around the 'Boro, are you allowed to tell me what make/model of motor it was?
Please don't tell me he went on to say something like "But I'll lose my licence if you give me this endorsement!"

Only if you don't keep up at the back.
