No I agree,I ditched the camera because all I saw all I was doing was looking for negatives...I like your way of handling it.Just use it if you need it.Hopefully never.

Yeah. I've noted elsewhere that although I got one after suffering a road rage attack, my actual main use for cameras has been reporting shoot like huge potholes so I don't have to stop to take photos of them any more, which also serves to confirm the camera still works.

Hope you are feeling better soon. Horrible to be knocked like that. Another reason to run a camera if only for the offchance of getting some evidence. Hoping for some comeuppance for the driver !

So I was off the bike for a few weeks, took longer than expected before I could put enough weight on my wrists to ride. No word on the driver, unsurprising as the only possibility would've been either the driver reporting it or some dash cam footage surfacing.

I did get a Fly6, but all it does is attract them it seems

Yikes just reading this and glad it wasn't too serious and you are back on two wheels again. I was hit similarly a few years back but the clip I think was only enough to make me lose balance and not enough to damage their mirror (although I never looked).

Cameras are a personal decision

As above, it is up to you how you use them

Mine runs on a loop that deletes itself unless I choose to record that section permanently

In this case it could have meant the driver being brought to justice
