Any opera buffs out there - no success with Googling??

Seigfried ----- orchestral work by Wagner 1870.

I can only find "Seigfried" - but he seems to have a second name:wacko:.
It's the final clue too ...

Huh? I just pasted Seigfried ----- orchestral work by Wagner 1870 into the Google search box and it immediately came back with this which gives you your answer - Idyll ;)!

(BTW - it's Siegfried)

Drat - 1 minute too late!

Nothing much, just one of the most popular of all classical pieces there is, to be found in every other boxed 'favourite classics' collection...

You'll be asking "what is Holst's ------- (set of pieces with a Solar System context)?", next...

Bloody philistines...
