depends if you bought the bike or wheels new or not, someone else could have replaced some nipples or spokes and nipples and used a nipples with a different sized head

no nipples been replaced then?
personally i would buy a bike from them happily but just get home and strip it down to a bare frame and then rebuild and properly adjust gears+brakes etc bikes are good staff are monkeys (most)
