I'm just wondering whats the max FCN difference people have had.

By pure luck and not fitness, I have scored a difference of 9.

T'was a roadie, no hairs on their legs in full team colours, worked my butt off in a head wind to catch up, sneakily rested just before the overtake so I could give a cheery 'morning' as I passed like it was easy and then as I was alongside I noticed they had aero bars ! Woohoo.

Actually I think he was about 12 years old so I am not sure it counts. But c'mon, I was acting like I was 12 !

What variations of SCR have you seen or do you play ?

If I have a training run into work I like to take it easy on the way home. This invites people from lower down the food chain to 'have a go'.

The sub game - Evil Commute Racing - is:
Wait for a victim to pop in front who is obviously slower than your usual pace, up your speed a little and see how much pain you can inflict. Bonus points for the amount of times they look back at you and for the length of time you can hold them for.

 Mwahahahahaaaaa

Like you, i always like to push myself on my way in and the way back too, (unless I have a PT session at the gym straight after the ride in). I don't go counting how many bikes, what type of bikes, cars etc I've taken, but like to go as fast as I can - safely. Good fun and like you say, gets your heart pumping and the legs stronger. I do notice that the ones I overtake go straight through the red lights I wait at, just to get past though lol.If someone overtakes me, I'm happy to sit on their back wheel and get a free ride
