Off to a friends in Philadelphia for a week in August.

Has a nice big place with a swimming pool.

Normandy in a few weeks time with one or two people, dirty weekend at the end of June in Bath and a road trip (Eurostar) to Brussels with a group of friends for beer and chocolate. I'm hoping for a proper holiday later in the year but might be pushing my luck to ask for Ibiza three years running so we'll probably try Cyprus or Greece or Egypt, all places that he's been to and I haven't.

Just had a lovely week in Olu Deniz Turkey (although I have come back with some horrid bug and am off work sick)

France for a week next week, to include 2 nights in a treehouse.

Miss summer holidays with the children... best ones were our big 'family' weeks taking in-laws and nutty aunty renting 5 bed villas with pools based around Pollenca in Mallorca with 7 or 8 of us; cost about £350 per person for the Easyjet flights, villa from OwnersDirect website, and car rental upgrade. Happy days.

It's near St. Gilles Croix de Vie / Sion south of Nantes - the place is called Le Pas Opton.

We stayed in St Gilles in 2006 - a french friend of ours lived there and we were out there during the Tour so I caught the TT stage at Rennes. I can recommend Lac De Jaunay which is a bit inland. Lovely for picnics and swimming if you want to escape the crowds.

We are doing our first ever family package holiday abroad this year and going to Dalyan in Turkey. Really looking forward to it.
