I assume you mean Kyrgyzstan or Kazakhstan ? I can do you a good deal on one of our trailers to Bishkek or Almaty but it will take about 21 days to get there

Oops missed that one doh, I have been to Azerbaijan and had the chance of a 2 year job placement in Aktau however the missus was not as keen...

Stayed in a studio in Efemia once, loved it. There is nothing like sitting in a harbour front taverna, eating souvlaki, drinking mythos and watching the sunset as the yachts cruise in for the night. Magic.
It is also a good bike ride from Efemia along the coast to Sami, as long as you watch out for goats leaping into the road in front of you.
Hope you have a good trip around the Aegean. Will you be visiting Santorini? To be honest it is all pretty stunning!

+1 eating Souvlaki, drinking Mythos. No we will be south of there. We had to pick up the yacht from Vliho last year. We landed in Kephalonia, because we get cheap flights to there. A short ferry trip to Lafkas. All the "small" ferries had been "grounded" due to dodgy insurance. We had to hire a car, get the Strintzes ferry to the mainland and a 4 hour drive to Lefkas. We missed a day sailing

I have been to Florida and a 5 night Caribbean cruise so far this year. I go to France Friday for a long weekend.
I will go to France for Easter.
I am in Gran Canaria for a week in June
I am in France for a week in July to watch the Tour
I will make a few more trips to France this year as well but they are not booked yet (I have a place in France)

I guess you don't like France then?

we have a week in Weymouth , week in Prestatyn a mid week break in Blackpool all booked with 1st one less than 5 weeks away ...... wahay

I LOVE Weymouth, been there many times when we had kids...its got everything.

Breaking a lifelong rule this year, we've never stayed in the same resort more than once when abroad, there's too many places in the world to see...but we're going back to the same resort..same hotel, it was that good....
So its Alanya, Turkey for us. I don't think the likes of Thomsons etc get out there so you don't see that many people from the UK. Just north of Cyprus, the sea crashes in (safely) on lovely beaches, great fun getting thrown around but once you're 20 feet out, its calm and relaxing , large town thats just heaving with shops, plenty of local attractions, caves and natural water parks up in the mountains, boat trips, ancient castle with awesome views...can't wait.

Off to Hong Kong in August with the OH. Was there briefly, one night, 10 years ago so looking forward to going back for a proper visit.

Lots of plans, but the only two booked and confirmed are Mallorca in April (cycling approval granted! ) and Carcassonne for TdF in July.. I suppose there is always my week in Cornwal (Porthleven) as well.
There is a pending visit to Wisconsin that will define the rest of this year's holidays.

We don't have any plans to go away - we'll probably do a lot of work on the house*. Maybe get away to stay with my Mum, or my sister and her family.

*New Year's resolution was to get the upstairs renovation done, and then set a date for the wedding and me moving in....
