I occasionally wear Endura Full Montys in the summer, there classed as summer long finger gloves. I've got an older pair without the red stripe. Edit link Added

+1 for these - got some last summer and they were excellent. The 'vertical' bits of the fingers are an open weave mesh which let lots of air in. The wrist is comfortably short, like a mitt, and they have nice padding. The EBC Revolution Essential Three Season Gloves are a very similar idea but the ones i tried had awkward internal seams.

I love the defeet dura gloves on their own for spring/autumn use - they let the wind through just enough to stop overheating whilst keeping the nip at bay that fingerless gloves would no doubt leave me with.

How they can call them winter gloves I do not know.

another option is to wear whatever fingerless mitts you like and add in some liner gloves. I'm currently wearing these under my mitts:-

I don't know how they'll be when it gets warmer but they are very thin and light. They also mean very soft bits for nose wiping and you can easily remove them to revert to fingerless as need be. They machine wash no problem and seem robust. Mine have had about 40 wears and 20 washes so far and held up fine.

Thats a good idea mac thanks I might go down this route best of both worlds then !.

I have Specialized BG gel long finger summer gloves. They've been good too me, nice padding and my hands have never been too sweaty.

I'll probably be getting some Castelli Rosso Corsa short finger gloves soon.

+1 for the Spesh gloves. These are what I'm using at the moment as my spring/autumn gloves.
Just enough to keep the chill of your fingers but not enough to overheat.

I've never been that impressed with Fox gear but I have a pair of their mtb gloves - mesh back and fingers, suede palm and grip side of fingers - which are great. I've worn them everyday when the temperature's above about 5C (but I don't tend to suffer from cold fingers) as I don't like the sweaty winter gloves - starting off after a coffee stop with cold damp gloves is the pits
