Summing in Excel (%)

Yes. Just tried it and it worked fine. Make sure what you're doing makes mathematical sense though.

Just put the figures in a line down the page with the % sign after each number. At the bottom of the column press the Summation sign and it adds up giving the number with a % sign after it.

What Keith said. Or I usually type =SUM( then highlight the cells then ). If the values are % your result will display as %.

It was at 99.9% anyhow...

Just for the record I done it like this =sum(a1:a15)/31
