Sun is out but no riding for me

Glourious day today, cold but very little wind. So last night got all my gear ready with the intention of doing around 30 miles before work.
About 3am woke up with stomach pain and feeling sick. Well im sure you can guess what came next!
So not at work (first time in 20 years), no cycling. In bed feeling hot then cold, but plenty of short sprints to the loo

Oooh, commiserations. I was also supposed to go for a ride this evening, but am unwell and on anti-biotics. Have been sleeping on the couch for much of this morning.

Well at least I got to walk to the doctors this morning and enjoy the sun. It's only 5 minutes, but surprisingly rewarding given that I had the 1 y/o in tow. I haven't taken him out walking as much as I should have.

I feel your pain af,lovely and sunny and I've had a stinking cold since Friday that has stopped me cycling,here's to a speedy recovery for all those in similar circs.

In the same boat here. Got up Monday morning with real bad stomach pains. So a couple of the trips to the loo and hopped on the bike. Got about 2 miles before stomach starting grumbling again and pootled back home (I think I did 3.5 miles in 20 minutes on the flat !)
Spend yesterday in bed slept all afternoon. Even today I couldn't face a spin on the bike even with the 1st decent bit of weather all year.

Looks like another day off work and the bike tomorrow.

At least Im not getting accused of having man flu. Mrs AF said that its only the second time in 25 years that shes known me take a day off sick. Quite gutted really I was proud of my record!

it wasnt that warm out in places but i did see someone on atri/TT bike in vest top and shorts.
