It's a day of nothing,we are eating out.Lunch at the Roundhay Fox,i might even buck a trend and refuse to do the ironing which i normally do Sunday afternoon and to top it off,we are not going to church either.Lunch is booked for 12-30 and we can't be i two places at once.

Sod ironing. Chuck it all in the tumble dryer.

Yeahbut 'Chappers' is a tw@t and Wooney is worse, so how you managed to enjoy it, I have no idea.

All the above are true but it was worth it to see the discomfort of Weetabix heed having to critique the
Mackem molestation of the hammers.
Any idea if 'Chappers' is a sole replacement for MOTD or is he going to rotate it with MOTD2 and MOTD3 alongside the laydees.

How did you break a finger, did the porker fight back?

Pesky exhaust manifold bolt. There are 3 per branch and you require: 1 deep socket, 1 UJ joint adapter, 1 shallow socket, a plain 13mm spanner and an obstruction spanner such is the complexity of reaching them all. This, plus there are 2 metal gaskets - I have vowed to replace them with the slightly thicker aftermarket alternative that according to the 944 owners, works well and does not require as much force to compress.
So, with the 13mm shallow socket on the end of the UJ joint and a medium extension + ratchet, I was pinching the most difficult bolt to reach. If you have ever used a UJ joint, you'll know it's range for any force is limited. The socket popped off just as I was exerting force on the ratchet and my finger got trapped between the ratchet and the sump. With much cursing and swearing, I finished the job - pipework, vacuum lines, radiator fan, an earth strap, a bracket and then went to A&E expecting a queue but there wasn't one and there were a couple of oldies in who were suffering the heat with COPD. Straight into X ray, straight out and in a room where I got quizzed and a silly plastic splint put on. Came home and removed it. Couldn't do a thing with it on.

Anyhoo, the pain tracked up the arm on my 3 hr ride this morning (in glorious weather) so I feel mangled all over from this weeks efforts - 6 days on the trot revamping garage/workbench and then clutch and gear box installation.
I did the whole Porker job in 23 hours which is 4 hours quicker than the previous occasion. Well done me.

No idea. Just wish they had handed it to Gabby.

A sense of accomplishment and a sore finger!

Snowdonia running fail, yesterdays drunk bike ride fail might be the reason but mentally not in the right place for a long suffer fest.

Waiting for my mate to finish before we head home to the pub
