Woke up at 5 wondering if I'd beat @sungod : nope.
Today looks like more couch time. The thumb strain has calmed down and the various leg lacerations are healing nicely but the clavicle is still sore.
Mrs Wakemalcolm has kindly offered to take me out for a walk. The weather's promising and she recognises that I've got that post adventure squirm that comes with not quite knowing what to do with yourself afterwards.

Should have been a bike day but a change in gastronomic scenery didn’t agree with my guts so will go tomorrow instead.

Morning folks,
Been away for a bit, usual Tuscany trip but we flew this time. Unfortunately the old dear’s phone got hacked and debit card number used the day we left so I wound up trying to deal with that remotely for a week and a half. Now im back and still trying to get some of it resolved. Then the lad borrowed our car and it died on him, at least we weren’t halfway through France in it.
Cooler here too of course. Out for a ride later, some of the guys I ride the old bikes with are doing Manchester to London on old Bianchis. Thankfully I’m not doing that but some of us are joining them for the last leg from Hitchin way.

Todays promised forecast of fine weather has materialised as showers and wind. So a long walk with Bertie instead of a bike ride was had. Later will be some more strimming.

Currently chilling in Ballamory on the Isle of Mull. Really disappointed we've not seen Miss Hoolie or PC Plum. Got blue skys and nice weather though
