We have a rather damp layer of it. If it drops below freezing tonight the roads will be terrible tomorrow! Walk scheduled with wife and puppy and some sort of cooked meat to follow.

Suspect it will be a short and sweet ride with a cafe stop. Young Oxo nursing a headache in the big smoke somewhere, no doubt his mum will give another one when he gets home. 🤭. Glad we rode yesterday as weater today is slightly minging in NW Kent. Headed into town for supplies and collect my latest set of specs from the optician. Probably do a spot of sim racing this afternoon.

I not sure if the local CofE vicar is being ironic with that enormous wooden boat hes building in his front garden. His new long flowing beard suits him though.

This morning we arose to fresh rain, the local floods that had slightly abated, bound to be back later tonight. I gave my bike a good clean after yesterday’s ride, which was in sunny conditions but on flooded and muddy roads. Back to the garage I fear for some spinning , whilst SWMBO cooks the Sunday dinner.

Morning

Late night last night as Shorty's team won the 3rd place play off.
Drove back through blizzards - started off the journey in dry conditions but then quickly turned to rain then sleet then snow. [Raining this end].

Lots of coffee required.

We had a covering of snow in the early hours but rain seems to have washed it all. So it looks like it will a very wet walk with Bertie before a turbo session at some point.

Turned to rain here but my Sunday ride was called off days ago because of the threat of snow. Whether it did snow or not I cant say as I had a lie in. Annoyingly yesterdays group ride was also called off but at the last minute because of ice. Some folk cycled on their own later but annoyingly I had a niggly ankle from a turbore session alternative so I went for a long walk in the sunshine instead.
