Afternoon
Out early for club run, did an extra loop to finish and get my 100k in. Also got my first puncture of the year on a road that had been surfaced dressed. It was perfect for a gravel bike except I was on my road bike with 25mm tyres. I had a bit of battle to get the tyre back on and ended up bleeding from somewhere. Now sat nursing sore thumbs as well as legs.

Most of the day spent in the sunshine at the coast, including a nice sauna and sea swim hour. Lunch at a nice restaurant and then a boring drive home as the wife got grumpy everytime I pressed the accelerator

Now in the hot tub as the beef cooks

Evening folks,
Day of pottering has been had, reasonably nice weather wise at least. The EPO wanted me to jet wash the paving, thankfully the jet wash had other ideas. Downside is I’ll have to get a new one and do it another time. Rode a bicycle over to the old dear’s on a new pair of wheels I’d built and all was well thankfully. I always worry a little before the first ride even though I know what I’ve done with them.
