Morning. Yep Sungod is correct again, its going to be el-scorchio later. Off to a country pile with the mutt whilst its not to hot. More clearing out stuff in young oxo,s room, charity shop or rag bank will do well i suspect. Family barbecue later at eldest lads so should be fun.

Morning

Light cloud and cool, may get slightly warm later, off for a gentle cafe run with a pal or two, ride off yesterday's beers.
Met great nephew with this U18 team at the 7s yesterday, all the way from Aberystwyth to play 30 minutes of rugby!.

Morning
Rather jaded after yesterdays sun baked ride and a late night at next doors. Failed to get up for todays club run, so it will finish coffee, walk Bertie, ride bike. Later is the Tannahill Weavers at Helms art centre

Going to another scorcher here. Been to the tip and will head for shops shortly. Then a spot of sim racing, lounging in the garden and general job avoidance. May tune in to the footy and F1 later.

You seem to 'go to the tip' more than anyone else on here. Is it a euphemism for something else that I'm naive about?

A drive to smogland in the heat today. The Jim Clark rally has made it all a bit circuitous but a preponderance of escorts and a broken down TR7 has given the trip that authentic 1970s feel.

Nah, it is the rubbish tip. We recycle a fair bit, take plenty garden waste there when the garden bins fill up outside of the fortnightly collection and also the two ladies of the house buy loads of stuff online and we end up with tons of cardboard...

Ride ridded. 50 miles, not too shabby given the lack of miles over our very wet winter.
Battled one helluva stiff headwind out but got lots of wind assists on the hills (9 of them plus rises and false flats) on the way home.
Eat, shower stretch. Feet up. Happy days.
