Afternoon
From occasionally sunny Fife. Out early to look at daughters hopefully new house. Needs a fair amount of work on it but it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. Lovely setting just above the burn and surrounded by hills and woods. This was followed by a trip to beach in St Andrews where Bertie got to see the sea for the first time. Apparently a working Cocker will try to flush seagulls out of the sea as well pheasants out of the undergrowth. I think he enjoyed himself but was frustrated that he wasn’t allowed to join in with Chariots of Fire fun run.
He's not liking the Seiko, I suspect because i've got the sport 5. He's torn between a tissot and a tag. I personally prefer the tissot. He did like a bulova as well but out of his allowed price range.

eco drive might be ok, but warn him about battery/seal replacement costs - i remember a friend with a tag h, a few years ago he discovered the periodic maintenance cost was comparable to what the watch was worth, i mocked him mercilessly with my old breitling, he has a proper watch now

Don't know if that Bulova was the Lunar Pilot Chrono, but I've got one and like it. Can be had at decent discounts to list price and it's not too dissimilar to the Omega Moonwatch.
