I'm rather tickled that 'meh' has created such excitement!

May I also introduce 'boh' which is an Italian way of saying 'whatever' and must be accompanied by a shrug and a look of nonchalance!
Ah. Is that like 'bof', which my French colleague uses? It's not just a word, it's a whole book of body language

The cost to replace it would prevent some folks changing it once it's had a hard knock. Also, is the battery replaceable?

And in terms of words. I watch the imported cop etc dramas & really like the French *way* for saying yeah. As opposed to the more formal Oui for yes.

I always thought that was introduced as the alternative to "no way"

Will you lend me a fiver ... No way!

Can I buy you a drink..... Way

tl;dr

The ultimate bicycle helmet with brake lights and turn signals to help cyclists stay safe and visible on the road.

It won't help because the drivers that represent the threat to cyclists on the road aren't looking and don't give a chuff about the safety of other road users.

Oh. And I'm not a motor vehicle so I don't want indicators and brake lights

I aim to please. Or at least be consistent in a what you see is what you get sort of a way.
What country are you in today, and are used Dutch bikes cheap to buy in the 'hagen?
I'm over-weekending in a sunny Denmark this weekend as four return trips a month it too big a CO2 footprint for me to bear.

As to used bikes, I will have to ask around next week - no one but the non-Scadinavians comes into the office in Fridays! I'm only here for a conf call.

New "classic" bikes are cheap enough and once bought most locals don't upgrade, n+1 is an entirely alien concept to the utility cyclist here, they just ride it or pass it down through the family until it falls apart, rusts away or otherwise breaks and then they buy a new one. I was offered a classic bike by a colleague for €100 but I didn't feel dutch was really my style. I do sometimes regret that decision.

Nope nope nope.

Nobody will be expecting an indicator on a helmet so nobody will look for it. Therefore if you want to indicate you will either be relying on this which is dangerous else using your arm anyway in which case this is redundant.

This usual crap is designed by people in cars who occasionally cycle.

I think you give all car drivers far too much credit
