Superfluous Patriotic Branding.

Today I saw, riding in front of me (but I caught up with him ) a gent with 2 flags sticking out of his panniers, the union jack on the right, the saltire flag on the left.
I thought this was cool, and told him so. Would have liked to take a picture, but could not stop.

A few years ago cycling in the borders (Trike-Rite, in fact) I tried to buy a small trike-pole sized union flag in Coldstream but couldn't find one- only Lions, St Andrew & St George. Maybe borderers don't like wishy washy waverers.

We change ours according to what coach tours are expected. I like the Japanese flag most.
