suspension forks

hi what are a good make of suspension forks .they got to take cantilever brakes.

It depends what you want them for. Rockshox Tora TK, Rockshox Revolution older models, Rockshox XC fork... all have a brake boss option. See ebay for an example.... Tora TK are OK ish as an entry level fork. If you want to spend more then Fox F-series forks have an option I think.

Mazzochi are very good and there support and spares are really good. Got oil on my MTB replacing RockShox, in my opinion the Mazzochi's are better built but the Rocks are more than up to the job.

thanks guy i'm thinking about changing to suspension forks but don't have a lot of money and i know nothing about them.just didn't want to buy a load of rubbish.

What's your budget, these are a very good price and fork at the budget end of the market. They were selling some air shocks with remote lockout for £170 but they've all gone.

i was looking at some of these on ebay. just looking at the mo got to build my road bike first.hopefully start a new job with more money coming in so the budget might change.
i take it zoom are cheap and nasty. what about RST.

RST are not great. They are very much a low budget option, and are harsh and undamped. My daughter had some on a hardtail and they eventually packed up completely on a red run. I replaced them with some used Toras and she hasn't looked back. Those Recon at On One are OK, but don't have brake bosses.
