That was my first impression in terms of brand confusion. I already get my students to examine Sustrans' logo design and compare it, so my already prepared teaching materials for this Autumn will get a brief revision.

The changed name doesn't state simply and clearly what they are about imo. I wonder how much the re-branding cost.

Also, given the name change was posted at Companies House on 20 August yet Sustrans themselves haven't put a message out maybe they're less than convinced of the name change?

Sustrans Changes Name To Walk Wheel Cycle Trust

> Sustrans—the name was short for sustainable transport

This makes far more sense than the nonsense they've come up with. And whilst I appreciate advocating for walking is admirable, I can't help but think it'll dilute the work they do on the cycling side of things.
Are they giving up on being useful for transport, then?

Is this a consequence of Boardman and the mayors aiming to take over and complete the NCN?

Exactly. They might get as well have called themselves Consignia for all the clarity the new name gives.

I hope your right, that they rethink this and is they are determined to move on from Sustrans then at least choose something catchy.

No idea, though another organisation being in charge of the NCN is worth a go. I've ridden some of the routes which are little better than a muddy track, hardly befitting a National Cycle Network!

I was never entirely convinced by sustrans, but they did what the name suggested, or at least tried to.

Doubtless some consultants were paid a lot of money to come up with this nonsense, probably justified by some bullpois about inclusivity. Wouldn't surprise me if the new logo incorporates a rainbow.

Consignia. Ben's Original. X. Walk Wheel Cycle.

Not quite as confusing as cdkeys becoming Loaded this week!🤣

What! I mean that means nothing at all.

For us oldies that still play computer games, cdkeys is a place to buy game keys you often activate on Steam at far cheaper prices. They do Xbox, playstation, Nintendo as well, but it's mainly pc games.

They rebranded to Loaded this week, out of the blue.

Loaded was a young gentleman's magazine in the 90s.

Also the name of an excellent Primal Scream song/album.

I've used CDKeys a lot down the years, it always had a decent reputation for cheap keys for games.
