The Swytch kit has a good reputation in ebike circles, particularly the Brompton one.

However, it's been on pre-order for months, and it looks like it still is.

Looks like they are offering about half price for pre-orders which should make it about £450.

Decent for that money, but you could still be waiting this time next year.

It does look simple to fit.

And you could pick up a second hand donor bike (I prefer older bikes anyway) for not a lot.

If this sort of thing becomes a significant well developed tech many of us may never have to buy an electric bike at all?

Just adapt our old favourites?

And swerve the apparent industry desire to flog us a lot of unnecessary suspension.

Maybe me and @SkipdiverJohn could be converted.

Or have I missed something?
