I got nasty sting today on the bike on my arm...didn't see what it was but it felt like a heavy insect as I swiped it away...feels like a bee sting...big red pulsating lump...

will I live?
can I blame car drivers for this too?

Do I need to get the spray plaster out?
Quick squish a garlic clove and put the juice on it - you will then survive................................ just

You need bicarb, not vinegar.
Bicarb for bees, winegar for wasps.
this.
one is acid one is alkali. i'd say if you didn't have anything protruding from said sting that it may have been a wop. bee's normally leave their innards behind when they sting (barbed stinger)

There's a particularly nasty one about - here's a police sketch of what it might look like.

Maybe Horsefly?

I've never had a bee or wasp sting but have had horsefly and I react really badly to them.

the fact that you are typing thise indicates you will, some people are vary allergic to bee stings but clearly you are not one of them.

you'll be ok, a couple of beers will soother the pain away.

Nothing, I've had at least 15 stings on the hands, arms and neck this weekend.

Mind you, I've opened 14 hives and harvested 350+ lb of honey.

Glad you only have a reaction and not anaphalaxis.
