When I write, say, 28T I always mean 28 teeth.
But I don't sell cassettes, so that's pretty irrelevant

I suspect they decided to add the "t", and in that one case, rather than modifying the record, created a new one. And the old one (with old price) is still showing up on the website - but as OOS because they put all their stock onto the new catalogue number.

11-28, 11-28t, 11-28T, 11-28 teeth (and any combination of upper and lower cases in case some smart alec picks up on that) mean exactly the same thing.

The difference in price between one cassette and another cassette would be if something is out of stock, or a different quality or brand or model of cassette, or a new model has come out, marketing stuff like that. But as far as those numbers go, they are they same thing.

Good observation though and i can see how this would be something to think about for anyone new to cassettes, especially considering the different standards we have in cycling (don't get me started on bottom brackets!).
