Actually, going also depends on my wife being up to scratch. She has been lucky with this bug but there is still time for that to change!

No. Didn't make it. Actually, this morning I woke up and thought I felt well enough to go, but, for the first time in a long time the kids slept in! So when I did wake I was running late. I printed off some directions using the AA route planner and headed off. Got to Edinburgh just after 10am (course started at 10am). I spent the next 40mins going around and round trying to follow the route planners instructions. To put it extremely politely, they were crap! No street names in the instructions for the part where it took me through the city centre!

Then tried to ask for help. Either, they ignored me, didn't know where it was or they directed me out of Edinburgh again. I eventually gave up pi$$ed off, tired and feeling a bit crap again.

When I got home I had a quick look on some other map sites and it would have been easy with those, no need to go anywhere near the centre from what I could see.

Oh well. Still a bit grumpy, but I'm still not well enough to cycle anyway, so it will be car this week.....

:?: Went downhill again last night. Been feeling pretty rotten today. (sympathy please!).

I think it was probably best that I didn't make it on the course, I would have been worse today.

This has been a nasty bug. I wonder if it was a bug genetically created by one of my detractors..... Hmmm, conspiricy theories....
