That's two questions isn't it: am I too old - No
Am I mad - probably
But you've come to the right place, there are some here older than you and some a lot madder than you.

Hi from another Northamptonshire lad there's quite a few of us around the county.

If ever you fancy an early Weekend ride give me a shout.

What took you so long?
Thanks, may take you up on that.

Hi All, I am a young and fit 60 year old and want to relive my youth so I have purchased a very little used aluminium road bike just after Christmas which I think was a bargain considering it's immaculate condition and has Campagnilo gearing.
In the mean time I have been busy buying all the gear I need from the tool kit to the cloathing and now ready to take to the road.
I am based in North West Northamptonshire and intend to join a cycling club but confess I am a fair weather rider so will wait for the slightly warmer, dry, spring days which will delay my training before joining any club.
Looking forward to getting back on the saddle very soon now.
Good for you, go for it!:okay:

Hi..........I am 69 and took it up (properly) approx. 2-3 years ago. It can really get you!! I managed a 68 miler last
year and am attempting a 100 miler around June/July this year.
So go for it and enjoy whatever you do manage.
