Going to die on the way home unless this wind drops. Flew into work. Ran out of gears on the MTB... OK 44x13 and 26" isn't much.
Turned the corner near work and almost stopped.

I was the opposite,I was being blown to a standstill on the way to work.

I would guess it moored with tight ines while the river was in full flood, and as the water level ha=s dropped it is now held up by the lines.

Ah understood. Seems like a simple and avoidable mistake, not that I know anything about mooring boats.
