Typically it was quite bright and warm all day and was even still bright when I got on the train but I'm glad I looked at a weather radar and decided not to rush for the early train. It was right a few minutes up the line it started to grey and just after the station before mine where I had thought of getting off for the 18miles home as it was still dry, the heavens opened. The weather radar was right! The train fortunately
was held at a red light out side my station for 5mins during which time it was really heavy but by the time I got off it was just miserable (no longer torrential) for the 10 miles home.
