Set off boldly into the storm, only to find a mild breeze and some light rain, so no tales of derring do to relate.

One motorist tried to kill me on a mini roundabout, but that's hardly news.

Much nicer than it could have been, warm, tailwind and sympathetic traffic lights. I'll take a medium but easing bit of rain with that. Even saw some other cyclists out!

WFH day - didn't look too bad at commuting hour, so hoping it blows over for tomorrow.

after yesterdays gear grinding tirp home into the headwind also probably half knackered from weekend decided flatbar can stay in the shed. A bit colder than yesterday didnt full for idea of needing the sweat bag hi viz so off to work in t-shirt and shorts. No traffic odd pratt over taking including a delivery lorry hope the 10 yards you gained to the red light was worth it your pratt in the words of black adder (I hope you mum dies in a freak yachting accident in france). Legs ache a bit but suprised stil going as had once day off in 9 days why I realise its not a lot for some for me its new so wondering how long I can go for hopefully till the end of the week.

Quite an uneventful commute this morning, except it was brighter and less windy than I thought it would be. There was one minor incident. A driver waited patently behind me for a fair bit, and when the road finally widened for a safe overtake, another cyclist came out of a side road and turned left towards us. It was a rather wide turn as he was making a bee line for the footway on my left.

Aftermath of the storm - cold blustery showers with a hint of rainbow. Lots of small debris but nothing substantial.

Much easier to get past on a bike!

Had this on my commute a few years back - once similar to that and was able to pick my way through. Another was winter, but across a canal bank. This was more complicated. Throw panniers over tree, climb banking with bike and climb over trunk.

i thought yesterday was supposed to the windier stormy day, whilst the ride in today was supercharged, except for the inevitable clash of opinion with man in van, always too impatient to wait to pass all the time in the world to have an argument afterwards, the ride home was head wind all the way granny gear tastic

another headwind on way home last night seems to welcome me daily this week. Cold start this morning and due to time of year caught the sunrise not seen that in a while nice start to the day from there is all down hill as the final destination of the journey is abbey wood. No traffic, temporary traffic lights still there, and of course no working taking place. Been past early morning and late evening no sigh of workmen anywhere will be taken down soon only to be replaced a few weeks later.
