Tales from today's commute....

Was wearing winter thermals and had to put the bar mitts on the bike again...the mitts had been packed away cos I was thinking 'I won't be needing these for a while'. I got that wrong!

Back on the commuter this morning the new/ 2nd hand shifter works well. The roads were slightly busier at places than I was expecting but on the whole the traffic was light and while it was fresh it was dry 🤞that continues.

Back on the bike this morning, and what a lovely day. Cold and crisp. Very little traffic as it seems most schools have broken up for Easter already.
Observations today - why do I regularly see, little ladies, often elderly walking huge dogs, eg German Shepherds, Dobermans etc that look as if the owner couldn't control dog if it tried to run and similarly, why do I often see burly workmen, built like brick outhouses, out walking a poodle or a Chihuahua.
