Tales from today's commute....

Nice commute in, lack of traffic makes it feel like school holidays have started early. No head wind for a change, some of the local roads have recently been re-surfaced so feeling less like neil armstrong on a luner landing party. Encountered one other bike on the way in nothing else. Sun comes out and the heat its seems a lot of cyclist dont bother shame would rather be on a bike that a train, car or bus.

There was virtually no traffic this morning which was a good thing as they have started to fill in the Queensgate roundabout. Forcing cyclists to tackle the roundabout or dismount and use footpaths. But its all one making it easier for bikes to stay on road, it had been a 3-4 lane circular. Even with having to wait what seemed like several minutes to get a space to pull in to I was still a couple of minutes faster than having to use the convoluted underpass and cyclepath.
