TalkMobile.....good/bad?

Is any one signed up to Talkmobile on here?

I'm thinking of getting my first contract phone (at the ripe age of 30) and their deals seem a bit too good to be true.

£18 P/M x 24 for 300 mins, 1000 text and 1GB of data with a free HTC Desire S, is far better than any other provider (excluding redemption offers which I don't trust myself to do).

Having Googled for reviews I can't find any horror stories but equally not many good experiences. I know they are run by Carphone Warehouse and use the Vodafone network so I can't see too much wrong with this.

The only bad reviews I've seen are of people using more free minutes they had and getting charged lots more, but I doubt that would be a problem.


Is there any reason not to go for this deal?

Two family members recently took out contracts on cheap smart phones with them. Both happy customers and as they piggy back the voda network have no signal problems. From what I seen, looks good!

looking at this network too as they offer a 12 month contract which is pretty rare these days and the main reason I am looking at this network.

I am looking at the HTC Sensation. Gonna cost me 99 quid for the phone then 30 quid a month.

Dont forget Quidco. I will get 48 quid back apparently. Let us know how you get on
