Noticed this week and a few weeks ago.
our usual tea coop red lable the wife buys as its her favorite ,and i drink that all the time.
but i have a box of strong yorkshire tea for when the other is low..

now ive been on the yorkie tea for a few days..and i was a few weeks back.
ive had a couple of migrein headaches on both occasions..

anyone else get this from certain tea's ? Could be a coincidence as i am due my B12 jab tomorrow and i do get more headaches when im ready for that...but the tea thing seems to be a catalyst..

Not with tea but I do get painless sight migraines from too much coffee. Caffeine may be the link, though I don't know whether there are greatly different levels of caffeine in Yorshire tea compared to your usual.

Well im thinking tanning as i get the same migrein from darker beers etc so maybe not caffeine?
Tho a load of jeager bomds give me a stinker lol..

thinking yorkie tea has more tanning to give the appearance of a stronger brew?

I get headaches if someone gives me decaff tea - reckon it's withdrawal symptoms from the caffiene!
Just wondering if the Yorkshire tea is a lot weaker, or you've bought decaff by mistake?

my body dont absorb it due to ulcerative colitis..i have the jab every 10 weeks..i know when im ready as i find i get angry tired confussed etc..its a bit concerning..but after the jab im sharp and fine again within 2 days..
Thanks for that. I'm quite interested in the B12 thing although I'm no medic. I'm pleased to see that you are much better after the injection. Hope the colitis can be resolved. Best wishes.

I have been drinking Red Bush Tea for about 3 years now as it's naturally caffeine free and has a lower tannin content than black tea. If I drink normal (black) tea now it makes me very nauseous and dizzy. That could be the just the caffeine, but it's strange that I can still drink coffee with no ill effects.

Oddly enough, I get sick and dizzy if I drink nettle tea or other herbal teas, so maybe there's something else to consider.

Thanks for the replies..
i do love rooibos tea..i used to get the Roobios orange from lidl..superb refreshing drink, but they stopped selling it sadly.

there is a trigger to my migrein and tannins may play a part.
mine feel like a line of pain from my optic nerve to my ear on the right side..
nothing will get rid of it except my script Ritzatriptan tablets..maxalt melts.tho im on a generic version now which has less side effects for me..others have more with the generic..? I got a numb leg with maxalt.
