Yup, and I couldn't spot any difference in feel to pneumatic tyres. At least I couldn't while whizzing around on a totally smooth indoor floor!

Well obviously I can't speak for you, but I've been stopping at the roadside, frequently in the p***ing down rain to change a tube.

I thought you ran Durano plus, which are basically Marathon plus without the tread?

I do on my distance bike. On the commuter currently are city jets. Both are good but punctures aren't impossible unfortunately whereas the tannus would give me 4 years for £100

Whereas a pair of Marathon plus (or Durano plus) would give you several years for £60, and comfort.

On a solo bike the only thing I've found that will get through a D+ or an M+ is a six-inch nail - or wear and tear. The same is almost true of a Marathon.

I've had 3 punctures on D+ , all admittedly caused by things that would have destroyed a lesser tyre. Only 1 when I commuted on M+ caused by a metal shaving
