It may all be mute anyway as it took a different turn today, literally, they dug down in the road on Monday to get to the crushed pipes, then guys who came yesterday clear out the pipes, believed that the pipe was never connected.

Today another team came to make the hole longer to expose the main sewer it should have been connected to so they could make a new connection, however they found another bend on what would have been our pipe which then made it run parallel to the main sewer for at least 3ft but then it was crushed again.

Which means we don't know for certain whether it was or was not connected without taking up at least another 3-4ft of road, which obviously is not going to happen.
