so what targets have did/do you have for 2014? and how far have you got with them?

i have a mileage goal of 1,500 miles and have today rolled through that with today's 28.5 miler so i think i will up it to 2,000 as that should be more than easy to achieve in the next 3 months

i also have the challenge/target to do my first imperial century before the end of the year which is still to come
Cheers Ed

Just to get cycling regularly again after developing BPPV.

And in other fitness areas to get back in to competitive lifting, which hasn't happened but at least I'm training pretty well now.

As per http://www.cyclechat.net/threads/2014-cycling-resolutions-whats-yours.146549/#post-2848667

I aimed to ride 3000 this year, which I have done already, almost reached 3700. I'd like to have done 5000 miles Nov - Nov, which I am 4150 into, but the cold I've had this week has really put me behind! I've also lost more than the 4 stone I wanted to and bought sufficient lights and ridden in the pitch black. The 6 day a week is rare though, not feasible with work commitments.

On course for my mileage goal. Still not got round to tackling the imperial century but today I'll be crossing something off the list and going on a mystery tour of the Isle of Wight, my first visit.

Target of 3500 miles of which I've done 2106 putting me 400 miles behind target. I blame my new born baby- forgot to factor in 3 weeks without riding.
I did promise myself 2 sportives too and the second is next Sunday- so hopefully I'll be able to tick that one off.

Regular cycling, to get out more during winter months, also to do 50 milers so I'm ready for some sportives next year.
And on a running note..get under 22 minutes this year.
Managed the run at 21.58 s
Also 3... 50 milers under my belt so going to plan.

According to Strava I've managed 2,214.7 miles this year which is more than I might have anticipated on 1st March

I'd like to have my average consistently at 14mph (bearing in mind I am always riding in traffic) and get to 2500+ miles this year

Oh and no more tumbles this year / no more whacking my injured leg after yesterday's bizarre incident! @jefmcg

oh dear, what did you do yesterday? i know you tumbled shortly after you left @jefmcg on a ride and ended up rather bad but that was a while ago?
you WILL manage 2,500 miles with ease!
