What about a Citroen c3. I believe the do a “SUV” style variant?

There is also a Fiat SUV style variant of the Fiat 500 and I think a fiat grande punto s or something like that.

Funky offerings at the cheaper end of the market.

Currently just sat in a C3 what an awful car. So tinny , poor quality

If you can find a car, pains me to say, buy a German vehicle. Far better build quality

Not an SUV per se but how about a Golf Plus? Or a VW Tiguan if wanting a higher driving position. Might even find in budget

I can't believe how quickly Nissan Jukes sell , anyone that pops up for sale locally seems to sell with a couple of days.

1 owner, FSH, MOT history's excellent, quality tyres which is always a good sign, and the mileage is sensible.

I’m surprised you can get anything worth buying for 5k Juke wise. How long have they been looking?

A couple of weeks and i am limiting our search area to 15 miles , if i would accept a diesel version and 100K + miles the choice grows but there are not many petrol versions around under the 5k limit , but we will keep looking and making suggestions for other choices you never know

I wouldn't now, either, but my old Volvo S60 diesel had 120k miles when I bought it and was trouble free to 240k miles.

It's hard enough finding a petrol with history and below 100k
Just found a nice B class petrol with late 70k on but that's been given the thumbs down
