Our local community is getting ready for the TDF. I was asked if they could park a yellow bike outside my house. There are hundreds of them marking the route through Denmark.

On closer inspection this is a Specialized bike with a triple chain ring. It has a shimano dynamo hub and light.

It got me wondering if I could do the minimum of fettling and ride the stage 3 with this bike. Air in the tyres and new chain may just about do it .

it does look a level above the usual abandoned BSO that gets use for such purposes here. Posh Danes!

That polka dot bike looks ready to ride apart from a missing chain . Your bike looks rideable but I'm not sure you will keep up with the pros on it .

Evidently someone decided they don't. That's why they painted it yellow and dumped it in @steveindenmark 's garden
