Is the kettle unpacked yet?
*awaits bergamot-scented goodness*

Not yet. In fact, we don't have a kettle! There was a communal one at St Nicks, and there's a communal one in the new place. Finding the mugs and teabags might be the issue...

There's a cafe too, although we're unlikely to spend £1.20 on a tea when we can make one for nothing (ish). Still, they do pastries... And there's a balcony with a view over the bustling picturesque thoroughfare that is Amy Johnson Way (this may be a lie - it's an industrial estate). All the roads have an aviation theme as it used to be an airfield - I've spotted Amy Johnson, George Cayley, Lysander, Audax, Auster and Concorde so far...

The vertical vane wind turbine is a pretty thing though...

Managed to avoid all but a few spots. Although all my bikes have mudguards. [/smug]

One has those very narrow aluminium ones with a stripe on, which, as Landers says, have to be quite carefully aligned or they don't work. Although actually it hasn't got them on at the moment because it's been stripped down and sent to Mr Hutchinson to be made more yellow.

Well, it doesn't rain much in the South...

Actually, I'd never get them on the carbon uberbike. It'd look daft, and there's no clearance anyway. I can only just get 25mm tyres on
