I was watching the Dauphine Libéré last night. I was amazed. One of the citizens of Tea? has cycled up Ventoux. 
Also Alejandro Valverde was in a break away of two most of the way up, and he is in Yellow today.
I am sure it will suit him very well.

Very quiet, I am recovering from a virus that I acquired about a month ago. Not too bad during the day, but last night I was coughing and sneezing so much, that I did not get to sleep until about 4am.

Afternoon all!
Had to gird my loins and go to the bank this morning, having had a letter reminding me that my graduate account was due to turn into an normal account and the free overdraft would therefore expire... With all the palava over suspending for a year, and an extension, I never got round to updating them on my status. I was all prepared to grovel and beg if need be, but the lovely girl on duty (she had amazing red hair, all long and ringlety (natural, I think) and that sort of ethereal look of very pale skin) simply took my account number, looked at my letter granting an extesion, with the date on, and said it would be fixed, and I'd be back on a student account!
Assuming this is true, I'm amazed, I thought I was going to have to struggle over it... It was my fault, really, for not thinking to sort it out...
Anyway, any tea on the go? I must remember to go shopping on the way home, so I can make some tiffin this evening....

Well, I thought I better have something to bring tomorrow....
There's a continental market on in town, I walked past it back from the bank. One of the stalls has 'party muffins' Huge they are, decorated with chocolates and stuff. I make have to purchase one for myself... I may even have a birthday candle somewhere at home...
Better check if the market is on Sunday too, or if I have to nip out tomorrow before we all meet up...
