I have been upsetting the two cats today. Decided that they are becoming slightly more rounded in the tummy region, than is perhaps advisable. So I did not put any cat biscuits in their dishes after breakfast, by gum, am I in trouble! Even the white cat is giving me black looks. ;)

Anyone for a brew?

Peed off I am.

Been busy at work for the first time in ages, new customer, challenging little projects and I've been trying to get it all set up so it'll run smoothly while having a couple of days off next week and I managed to get my index finger underneath the guard on the bench grinder while rushing

The jobs fecked and ain't going to go out on time and it ain't going to run smoothly next week and there's nowt I can do about it*.

Oh, and I've got a sore finger. Pictures later if you're lucky

I've mostly got over my lurgy and the doc said I can still ride a bike so it's not all bad :B)

* so I'm not going to worry too much, but it's a bit of a shame as this is the first project since it became my department by default.

Oh dear Longers, do you need a bandage? and a cup of Tea? and a biskit?

Note that I am too far away to  it better!

On a more serious note, can you delegate the job to whoever is in next week, when you are not there?

I am in the fifth week of my lurgy! Still got a sore throat. Is it a coincidence that two weeks before I started with this lurgy, I was in contact with people who had just returned from Mexico. :B)

Hallelujah, the Jeff Buckley version, please...

Ouch longers, that doesn't sound fun!

Sis and B-i-l took Oli to see a potential new nursery for when he goes up to pre-school (although he'll probably stay where he is) and the care assistant took him for a walk round and a look in the sensory room (this place has more special needs kids than the others) and came back and said "he's got a lot of language for his age" and they both thought "Shi... Fu.. Goodness, where's he picked that up?" and it turned out she didn't mean bad language, she meant she was impressed that he could name all the colours in the bubble tubes. And say 'bubbles!'. And he knows the order of numbers, up to 9. Is that normal for not quite 2? I mean, I've always said he was a genius....

And he is officially obsessed with trains. He can say 'steam', 'train', and 'track'...
