You will be pleased to hear that in spite of it all I am managing to eat some risotto and about to settle down with my good lady to sulk my way thru a documentary on the building of the Hoover Dam.

Ok, so Miss tdr1nka & are are back after our first proper tandem ride and we've been Marshalls(myself a 'First Aider')for the Brockley 'Fun Run' this morning.

Time to build myself a 'working' bike from a multitude of bits.

I'll be using me Ribble, unless I go singlespeed for it, which'll deffo see me walking up Mont Ditchtoux...

Clarty is all assembled and ready for a test ride.

Chain rings appear bent but think it's where I had to bend the front mech mounting(a plate that fits over end of BB), to stop the chain rubbing against it when on the granny gears.

Only the brakes to balance now.

I had a few moments where I wanted to find the scrotes and do them some really good, permanent, life-altering damage. With thier own bolt cutters.
The notion of a bike thief needing to wee through a catheter for the rest of thier days had a distinct attraction to it.
I think my bedside manner needs a little work...

My boltcutter fantasy of yesterday was to remove just the top joint of each finger, leave the thumbs tho, they might need them.
