Hello Speichy, I have come to give you another cuppa of tea and to sponge you down. I am sorry to hear of your back problems, it is not good thing.

I do hope that no one from this forum had a hand to play in this little fiasco:

*staggers in after epically long ride from Blackpool*

Chocolate biskit anyone?
Sorry they're a bit damp, but I've got another 40 000 packs if anyone wants any.

Doctor, as you are an expert on time travel etc, I wonder whether you will be able to solve the following conundrumum.

At least four people on this forum are listed as not posting their first post on 1st January 1970. It is worrying that since not posting on that date, they have not posted since. How could they post on a forum that did not exist at the time? :?: Did the internet exist at that date? Could you investigate this?

Hint: three of them have names beginning with M or L ;)

Ermm, most of us didn't make our first post on 1 Jan 1970. I don't think I understand the question. Maybe I'll read it again in the morning.

Glass of wine anyone? I've had a few already...:?:

I've been drinking a Merlot to go with Coq au Vin, but I've got some white wine I can open.
Riesling Spatlese OK for you?
(Can't find an umlaut - do you have one I can borrow?)

*twist twist twist*
*lever*
*scrawnch...pop*
*glu glu glug*

I've got some cheese straws frozen, so they'll take 10 minutes or so.
*puts cheese straws in oven. 180 degrees, timer for 10 minutes*
Sausage roll while you wait?

Is the back any better this evening?

Yes please, white wine preferably. Thank you. Have you got any of those cheese straw thingies to accompany said wine? thank you

Um, excuse me, you are not allowed alcohol. A nice back rub and straight to bed for you!

A glass of Riesling won't hurt, surely? It's only 9%, so practically alcohol free as wine goes. That's the advantage of German whites - practically impossible to get a hangover. Unless you drink 3 bottles, in which case you've only yourself to blame!

Please don't use the phrase 'Straight to bed'. I had more cold showers last week than I care to remember - I don't need another...

Sausage rolls are fine, thank you. Yes I can have wine, Dom Tyler, the painkillers are useless. so I am not taking any.

The back is no better, I think this will take some time. I have got some of those thermal warming whatnots to warm things up a bit:blush:.
