 (Brings lots of packets (unopened) of biscuits, after feeling guilty all last night). (custard cream, rich tea, ginger and those pinky wafer thingies).

I bring condolences and commiserations to those in need of it. Biccies for everyone else. I cannot go out on my bike for a few weeks, hurt my back falling over backwards while playing badminton, and twisted it again a few days later getting out of the way of a bolting horse.

Please do not be jealous - well ok if you must. I have been invited to tea this afternoon at my sister in laws - as it is my 50th birthday on Wednesday. We will be having homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, co**ee and walnut cake, and coconut pyramids. In the unlikely event of their being some leftovers, I will bring them round here later. Special note to Lotpt - is co**ee allowed if it is in cake?

Fifty? Get away, you don't look a day over forty-nine!

Happy birthday! Tea?

Thank you for the birthday wishes, Lotpt. The tea is also good, nice and strong, and hot. I hope everyone shares the biscuits.

I will be busy on Wednesday - I have booked a helicopter ride in nearby Gloucestershire. If the weather is kind to us, we will be able to fly over our house. I am also trying to find someone who is kind enough to take me as a pillion passenger on their motorbike.

why do people when in hellicopters or on top of tall buildings get so excited about spotting their house? i mean its not as if they have'nt seen it before!

LotTp, your new signature doesn't work. Is it some sort of mysterious obscure Apple character or something?

Just made it up a while back. Using the two keys to the right of the letter 'p' with underline. Then added a smile.

There's two pieces of c***fe and walnut cake left. That's is one for Lottp. Please put his in the fridge, he does not visit after 6pm,and one for who ever answers the following question: How do you say in Latin American Spanish "Why didn't you send me an e-mail on my birthday" If no-one knows sufficient Latin American Spanish (which is apparently slightly different to Spanish) I will accept the answer in Swedish. Yes, you will have to work very hard on this occasion to get a piece of cake!
