Exactly Chuffers. You'd be fulfilling an educational need! What could possibly be more fulfilling or worthwhile!

Well said Waffles! It's a valuable public service. You should feel humbly proud that we believe you're more than man enough for the task.

My experience of telling middl matu well ripened ladies where the batteries go and which end to plug into their husbands is, er, limited. I suspect that I'd be sacked for giggling.

G'day mate! *clinks mugs*

Hey, I'm gonna get Lost Moon in the post tomorrow. Finally got round to going back a few hundred posts and noticed that a pub meet would be less than ideal.
And I've got 'From the Earth to the Moon' on DVD, if you and young Ms tdr1nka would like a borrow at some point. Covers the whole of the NASA moon program. Very very good.

*raises mug in salute*
You star, thanks again!
Now I have to finally get around to finish reading 'The Third Policeman' in order to bump 'Lost Moon' up the reading list! From bicycles to outer space in 'one small step', again.

Tx

Oh no, you get those from the Farmers Friend shop down the road.
So I've heard.

Well, actually, this cropped (sorry) up in a conversation earlier. I so wish I'd taken a picture (and I'm not nipping back, cos it's blowing a gale) but Tescos have a Tesco Value Riding Crop. You can buy them while you're getting the milk. That's just wrong.

*ponders*

Actually, you can also buy them when getting candles, cheese, red wine and coffee truffles. That's quite handy.

*goes shopping*

Imagine the sort of customers he'd have to deal with, Waffles. The type that go in there just because they're on holiday, and they think they should...

How did you know that?

...and no, I won't be working there!

Oh what a shame, cos next time I'm in Torquay, I might go there again.

You must be very familiar with it to have recognised it from my very vague description. After all there are a few hills in Torquay and it is a very small shop.

I have been watching a programme on a Sports Channel, about men with extremely big choppers. They (the men) were extremely strong, very fit, and with rugged outdoorsy type features . Timbersports, if you must know. It was the European Championships. Next week is the Team Event, so I will be looking out for a "new" captain.:ohmy:

I thought you were referring to the similar shop in Exeter...

I have never been inside.
